A new Farm to Table Restaurant, Greenhouse Craft Food, in Round Rock is a fun place to bring the whole family. Chef Rob Snow has passion for buying local, and also has a heart from keeping kids healthy. They even call the Kids Menu, “VIP Menu” with items such as All-Natural Burgers, Mac & Cheese and Real Chicken Nuggets. For the adults, try The GreenHouse Special along with the local beer on tap, Independence Brewing Stash IPA.

A few miles down the road from Greenhouse Craft Food, the City of Round Rock is displaying over 2 million lights at the Old Settlers Park. Enter the park off Old Settler’s Boulevard and Harrell Parkway, and enjoy the lights along the 1.5 mile path in the coziness of your car from December 2 to 31.
TIP: Before exiting onto Highway 79, park at Dell Diamond for the Christmas Towne at the Old Settlers Association across the street.
A dream of Randy & Carla Michna, was to have a fun place for kids to enjoy holiday festivities at the Old Settlers Association. The dream has come true as they have Santa, a Petting Zoo and Train Ride on Dec 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21st. The Rice Crossing Store, on the same grounds, will be hosting “It’s a Wonderful Life” production on Thursday-Sundays from Dec 7-22. Tickets can be bought online. What a fun way to spend the night with the family!
