A half mile down the road from  Juan in a Million is another amazing mexican restaurant, Joe’s Bakery.  East Austin is one of the best places in the city to peruse authentic Mexican food, and Joe’s Bakery has been a legend for over 50 years.  Serving lunch and breakfast all day long, and touting one of the best Mexican bakeries in town, this is a perfect place to stop.  Grab a Mexican pastry with coffee, and breakfast tacos to go and  for the rest of the week. Perfect!
