XGames, Aaron Ross, Austin…sounds like a perfect Trifecta! Grilled Cheese sandwiches originating in the 1920s in the US, has been taken to a whole new level at Burro Cheese Kitchen with ingredients such as Spicy Maple Bacon Sauce.  Justin Burrow, the founder, makes you feel right at home and Aaron Ross, the Co-Owner has a contagious passion this delicious food truck. Try the Croque-Madame and find out why it’s one of Austin’s favorite. 

TIP:  Hours Tues-Sat 11:30am-8:30pm and Sun 11:30am-4pm. Permanent location is under a gorgeous tree with picnic tables at 1221 South Congress Avenue.  During the XGames, the truck will be at Vert Event Downtown on Thursday, June 5th and also at COTA June 6-8th.  



First Thursdays is a family friendly event held on South Congress, and is a fun way to experience local Austin. All of the cool, eclectic stores along this popular street stay open until 10pm, with live music and a variety of local vendors set up along the way.

Since Burro Cheese and XGames is mentioned in this post, it is only natural to brag about Circuit of Americas, the place where XGames will be hosting the majority of their events along with amazing music.  Also called COTA by locals, this 3.4 mile track is on 1000 acres and provides first class amenities for any event.

TIP:  A great way to transport to COTA is via bike.  Nonstop events throughout the year, including XGames, Formula 1 and Kings of Leon.
