After a morning coffee at Cuvee, pop into the Counter Cafe for breakfast. Counter Cafe might possibly be one of the tiniest no-frills cafes in Austin, but it serves up some of the biggest flavors in the city. Serving breakfast all day with local ingredients, plates are filled by the friendliest staff with eggs, pancakes, bacon and more.  Their biscuits and gravy are made from scratch, and everything on the menu is delicious and highly recommended.

TIP:  Open 7:00am-4pm daily. Burgers are also a highlight on the lunch menu.

Gardner is one of the newest restaurants on the scene but there is no doubt, it will be a classic in Austin for years to come.  From the same culinary team behind Contigo, this restaurant takes vegetables to a whole new level.  They not only serve fresh farm ingredients, elevating in surprising ways they also have fresh ranch meats. The restaurant was named after Chef Andrew Wiseheart’s father, and it is evident the cooking creativity and respect for the cuisine has been passed down over generations.
