If you are looking for a romantic night out, reserve one of their beaded private rooms, and you will surely win the heart of your date. Hopfields is one of the few places in Austin which serves brunch daily, that alone is reason to celebrate.

WHEATSVILLE CO-OP:

Austinites have been loyal to the Wheatsville co-op for decades and for good reason. It’s right down the street from Hopfields and worth a stop if you need groceries or to grab a dessert on your way home. The quality of local ingredients that goes into their delicious smoothies and deli options cannot be beat. The handmade smoothies are full of organic, fresh fruit juices, such as apple and orange, and rice milk. That cool taste? All fruit, no ice. That’s correct, the smoothie is all the good stuff and none of the filler. Be sure to enjoy the deli and try the delicious Popcorn Tofu Po’Boy out of the little cafe patio.

MIRACLE ON 37TH STREET:

Even though this only happens a few weeks, it’s worth a mention on this blog. Within a few blocks from Hopfields is one of the quirkiest experiences for the Holidays. Miracle on 37th Street attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year to the neighborhood which has nativity scenes, Christmas lights and various art forms of expression. TIP: Wear comfy shoes and warm clothes, as you will most likely need to park far from the 37th street due to the amount of visitors.
