Simi Estiatoria is an upscale Greek restaurant in the center of downtown Austin.  Chef Diego Sanchez, originally from Peru, is the master creator of dishes from the sea to the land, with bright colors and tons of flavors.  The Octopus was the spotlight on the menu, but almost any dish will win your heart.  The atmosphere is white, clean with a touch of sass and the vibe consists of vivacious music and happy servers. All of these ingredients add up to be a fun experience….Enjoy!

TIP:  Open Daily for Dinner for Dine In and Take Out. Reservations available via Open Table.

Driskill Grill, just a few steps away from Simi and located inside the historic Driskill Hotel, serves a daily changing menu. Their bar is a really cool vibe for a relaxing cocktail or coffee in a historic setting.  Continue a fun evening with a walk around the Capital grounds, just five blocks away.

TIP: Open Wed-Sun for Dinner, and  Sat & Sun for Lunch.

The Paramount Theater first opened its doors in 1915 and has since been declared a historic landmark. The interior of the theater features beautifully painted and gilded ceilings from stage curtain past the balcony levels. Check the Paramount Theater schedule to see what will be happening when you visit Austin. The Paramount plays host to comedians, Presidents, musicians, and nights of classic film screenings.

Scattered throughout downtown Austin are several unmistakable Gibson guitars. All painted by, sponsored by, or signed by different local artists or celebrities. The artwork is all unique, even the medium used to decorate the guitars varies from paint to mirrors. Have fun walking from the Capital down Congress Avenue finding the guitars.
