EL NARANJO

EL NARANJO:

El Naranjo is one of those places in Austin, where you will consistently get an amazing meal.  The Chef is a James Beard winner, and it is passionate cooking from the heart.  Every single bite is delicious, and you can expect a different menu option every time you visit.  I love it! The cuisine is Oaxacan (my favs) so it is predominately made of corn masa and tortillas, with protein ranging from short ribs to pork.  Your soul will be full after visiting this place, enjoy!

TIP:  Open for dinner, Tues-Sun.

MATT’S EL RANCHO:

Looking to grab a drink before or after in a casual setting? Matt’s El Rancho has been serving legendary and Tex-Mex for over fifty years. There is a reason it is a favorite of the locals and that is because it is consistently delicious. From “The Bob Armstrong” queso to the casual patio dining to the ample amounts of parking available, a dinner at Matt’s El Rancho is sure to be a great time.  Give their Margarita Martini a try…it’s one of the best in Austin!

TIP: Open Daily for lunch and dinner.  Dine In, Curbside & Delivery Available.

The Broken Spoke, a true Texas dance hall, has been an Austin institution since 1964. Two-step beginners and advanced Western dancers alike can have fun here. Famous for playing classic country music, this dance hall was also popular as the set for a Friday Night Lights episode. Perfect for a date night or a unique group outing.
