GATI ICE CREAM:

Gati Ice Cream is one of the best spots for dairy free ice cream in Austin.  You will not miss the diary!  And their flavors are so delish.  And they even have a Gluten Free Bakery and Coffee…so it’s a one stop shop.  I truly love all things East Austin.  (and if you’re in downtown Austin, they serve Gati Ice Cream at the Yummi Joy!

CASA BIANCA:

Casa Bianca is right down the street, and exactly what you want in an Italian neighborhood cafe.  Great Happy Hours, delicious meals served on charming dishware, large portion cocktails, amazing service and great seating areas.  Whether you’re out in their cozy patio, sitting at the bar or inside in the cold AC…it is a great spot to come and relax with friends. Nothing is pretentious. Nothing is over the top.  It’s perfect Italian for East Austin…  Enjoy!

TIP: Open for dinner Wed-Sun, and weekend lunch. 

THE VOLSTEAD:

The Volstead, is right down the street, and is a perfect lounge to continue the evening.  Intimate candle lit tables set the mood, and the Prohibition-Era cocktails will impress any date or group of friends.  DJs start at many Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 10pm.  Check Facebook page for updates.
