JUPITER SUPPER CLUB:
Jupiter Supper Club is an experience you don’t want to miss downtown. Whether you walk in, and experience one of the swanky bars, you make a reservation at the restaurant, you are in for a treat. The whole experience takes you away from the hustle and bustle from downtown Austin into a true club. A classy club with dim lighting…and in one of the bars…a fireplace, and lots of seating. One of the bars even overlooks the Paramount Theatre! And then, there’s the open, al fresco, bright and cheery restaurant right in the middle. And the food…you won’t believe it’s Vegan. I loved every dish. And you can tell it’s all fresh and sourced with quality, because the flavor had a lot of punch. I hope it stays downtown forever, because it’s one of my new all time favs for sure…enjoy!
TIP: The Atrium Dining Room is available for up to 8 guests via Open Table. The rest of the space is walk in. Open Wed-Sat.
THE CONTEMPORARY:
The Contemporary is one of the best museums in Austin, with some of the best exhibits that come throughout the world and land in Austin. They have multiple levels of great art, and a rooftop with views that will take your breath away. It’s one of my favorite venues in the whole city…enjoy!
PARAMOUNT:
The Paramount Theater first opened its doors in 1915 and has since been declared a historic landmark. The interior of the theater features beautifully painted and gilded ceilings from stage curtain past the balcony levels. It’s quite obvious that it was designed by one of the most topnotch interior architecture design services available.
Check the Paramount Theater schedule to see what will be happening when you visit Austin. The Paramount plays host to comedians, Presidents, musicians, and nights of classic film screenings.
GIBSON TEN FOOT GUITARS:
Scattered throughout downtown Austin are several unmistakable Gibson guitars. All painted by, sponsored by, or signed by different local artists or celebrities. The artwork is all unique, even the medium used to decorate the guitars varies from paint to mirrors. Have fun walking from the Capital down Congress Avenue finding the guitars.

TEXAS STATE CAPITOL:
Designated as a National Historic Landmark, the Texas State Capitol is beautiful to tour inside or out. Their website provides excellent self-guided tours* of the inside of the capitol, outside grounds and monuments. They also have free tours daily beginning in the Capitol South Foyer and the entire campus is a perfect time to explore and enjoy for hours, whether you are a local or visitor.
Tip: Parking is available in the Capitol Visitors Center.
