OKO:

Oko is a perfect spot for East Austin.  I still remember the days of this space being East Side Showroom…[which I still miss dearly]…which switched to Ah Sing Den that I loved…but I am so happy that has been replaced with something amazing.  The food is Filipano influenced with a share platter vibe.  The Oxtail Kare Kare won us over and after a nice cocktail, a good dessert…and every single dish hitting the mark, this place quickly became a favorite.  Enjoy!

Oko has a cool vibe, and fun to hang out all night, but if dancing on a large dance floor all night long to honkey tonk is your style, check out The White Horse down the street. The White Horse is one of the funnest bars in Austin, with a stage surrounded by red velvet, neon sign and heaps of hipsters and a cool crowd of all ages.
