THE LINE HOTEL:

The Line Hotel is one of the best spots to stay in Austin.  You know it’s a cool hotel when there’s only a few locations, and 1 is in LA and another one is in downtown Austin.  It’s located right in the hub of Austin, and within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops.  I’m into an eccentric and intimate vibe, and this hotel has this as soon as you walk in the door.  With a small, unique coffee shop, a cool pool area along with a roof top bar and one of the best breakfast taco joints in Austin…this place has everything you need for a staycation or a perfect central hub for your vacation. Enjoy!

VERACRUZ ALL NATURAL:

Veracruz All Natural  is by far, one of the best breakfast tacos in the city. There’s one right in The Line Hotel, with a Carry Out window on the side of the building with a few picnic tables in the front. The breakfast tacos don’t need a lot of fancy toppings as the tortillas are homemade and the ingredients are fresh.  The Migas are some of the best in the Austin!   It doesn’t matter if you choose their brick and morter or a food truck at one of their locations throughout the city, you are in a for a treat, and you will be addicted.

TIP:  Hours vary per location.

LADY BIRD LAKE:

Lady Bird Lake is the heartbeat of the city with 10 miles of trails with lakeside views to enjoy walking, running, biking, kayaking or paddle boarding. There’s an entrance to the lake right behind The Line Hotel, and is a must if you’re visiting Austin! In 1971, Lady Bird Johnson, Austin Mayor Roy Butler and Ann Butler led the journey to create a trail. Today, there is a path with a dog park, and plenty of places to relax on lawns or benches along the way. Water fountains, showers and bathrooms also line the pathway.  Trail maps can be found on the link above.
